How do I check a marine contractor in Miami Beach?

Registered to workCivic Access account + state or county licence

Miami Beach says contractors must be registered with the city to work in Miami Beach. State-certified contractors register with a business tax receipt from their Florida place of business; county-licensed contractors need a CTQB certificate of competency and a Miami Beach Municipal Contractors Tax Receipt. The code separately bars a contractor from starting work in the city without first giving the city manager proof of compliance with county contractor law and of workers' comp and liability cover (Sec. 18-276).
