What are the storm and debris rules in Gulf Stream?

14 daysplywood may stay up before and after a storm

Gulf Stream treats makeshift plywood hurricane protection as a nuisance unless it goes up no more than 14 days before landfall and comes down within 14 days after, and treats a seawall or bulkhead in disrepair that lets adjacent land erode as a nuisance too. After a declared emergency the town may clear private roads of debris as well as public rights-of-way.
