Golden Beach's Town Council has declared deteriorated, broken, cracked or failing docks and seawalls to be unsafe structures that must be repaired or replaced after a notice to repair. Seawall and hurricane-protection violations carry $250 for a first offence rising to $300-$500 for a fourth. Yard waste may not go to the curb once a hurricane watch is issued.
