Do I need a permit to repair a seawall in Golden Beach?

Yes, plus DERM Class Itown building permit + cash bond + county Class I

Golden Beach requires a town building permit for seawall work plus a cash bond, with engineer-certified plans and staged surveys. Most repairs also need a Miami-Dade DERM Class I permit, which the county requires for work in tidal waters in every city; sealing cracks and repairing pilasters are exempt. Selling the house can trigger a required seawall report and fixes.
