Do I need a permit to repair a seawall in Ocean Ridge?

Yesbuilding permit

Yes. Ocean Ridge requires a town building permit for seawalls, issued once all other agencies' permits are in hand. A substantial repair (over half the shoreline or of engineer-certified replacement cost) must bring the top to at least 5 ft NAVD88, and so must an existing wall when the house is substantially improved or damaged.
