What happens when you fill in a form, request a guide or book an inspection.

Three parties, and it is worth being clear which is which:
Your service relationship for any actual work is with the contractor, not with us. We do not inspect, repair or build. The contractor's own terms govern what they do for you.
What you submit comes to us and goes into our records.
Two things we need you to confirm when you submit:
Please do not submit anything unlawful, infringing or harmful, and do not put financial account numbers, government identifiers or health information into a notes field. We do not need them.
Guides, checklists, city sheets and every rule page are free, and none of them require a phone number. If a form asks for one, it is optional unless the form says otherwise, and you can leave it blank and still get the thing.
We will send you what you asked for. We may follow up by email about your property.
If you asked to be connected with a contractor, or booked an inspection, we give that contractor your name, contact details, property address and your enquiry. They contact you directly.
If you only wanted a guide, say so in the notes and we will not refer you.
Either way you can opt out at any time — see Your Privacy Choices.
If you give a phone number and tick the consent box, the SMS Terms apply. The box is never pre-ticked, and consent is never required to get anything.
A booking request is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We or the contractor will confirm it.
The inspection is performed by the contractor, on their terms, at their price. We do not set it, perform it or guarantee it. If no contractor covers your area yet, we will tell you rather than leave you waiting.
You can cancel or reschedule by replying to the confirmation or emailing hello@walldockdeck.com. Please give the contractor reasonable notice — they are usually driving a long way.
If we send you a private link to a document or a booking page, anyone with that link can open it. There is no password. Do not forward it to someone you would not want seeing what it contains, and tell us if it goes somewhere it should not so we can revoke it.
We aim to answer within one business day, and to send automated deliverables immediately.
That is a target, not a guarantee. If something is urgent — a wall that moved, a sinkhole, water where it should not be — do not wait for us. Call a licensed marine contractor, and if there is any risk to people or structures, call your city's building department.
We do not guarantee the site or the forms will always be available. If a form will not submit, email hello@walldockdeck.com and we will pick it up by hand.
We are responsible for handling your enquiry properly and for what we publish.
We are not responsible for a contractor's goods, services, pricing, conduct, scheduling, workmanship or content. We are not a party to your contract with them. Sections 10, 16 and 17 of the Terms of Service set this out, including the limit on our total liability.
We may change these terms. Material changes are posted with a new date and at least 14 days' notice where we have your email address.
Florida law. Exclusive venue in the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The jury-trial waiver, class-action waiver and one-year time limit in section 21 of the Terms apply here too.
Questions about an inspection or a quote: the contractor. Everything else: hello@walldockdeck.com.
All of them, in plain language.
