What are the storm and debris rules in Fort Lauderdale?

Boat owner's jobno citywide boat-removal order

Fort Lauderdale's code puts storm protection of a boat on its owner: a vessel at a municipal dock space must be protected by its owner once a hurricane warning is issued for Broward County. Boarding up openings for hurricane preparation during a watch or warning is carved out of the boarding-certificate rules, and a tidal flood barrier left in disrepair after a storm is a citable offence with fixed repair deadlines.
