How do I check a marine contractor in Fort Lauderdale?

Register firstlicence + insurance kept current in LauderBuild

Fort Lauderdale accepts building permit applications only from contractors holding a current certificate of competence and licence in their field (Code Sec. 9-27), and every licensed professional has to register and keep licence and insurance documents current in LauderBuild. Expired credentials block permits and even fee payments, and expired licences drop out of the public search - so a contractor you cannot find there is worth a phone call before you sign.
