What are the boat lift rules in Delray Beach?

Allowed; one per single-family lot1 lift; raised boat 10 ft from side line

Delray Beach rewrote its mooring rules in January 2026. A single-family lot may have one boat lift, it needs a City permit after the agency with authority over the waterbody signs off, and the boat in its raised position must stay at least 10 feet - or the building side setback if greater - from the neighbouring property line.
